Behbehani Brothers was founded in 1952 by two families, Behbehani and Shirazi, and started its life as a general trading company. In 1957 it diversified into the Automotive Retail Industry and became the distributors for Volkswagen cars. In 1967 Behbehani Brothers became the Porsche Importers for Bahrain and in 1984 Audi was added to their portfolio.
1994 saw the addition of Jeep followed by Chrysler and Dodge in 2007. More recently (2012) has seen Behbehani Brothers become the importers for Fiat and Alfa Romeo cars.
As one of the market leaders of the automotive trade, here in Bahrain, and to accommodate the increasing demands of growing vehicle sales brand new facilities were built in Sitra. These consisted of state of the art showrooms for Volkswagen, Porsche and Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge being opened in July 2006 followed by an exclusive Audi Showroom in September the same year. These buildings were erected by M/S Planumet Schmidt Gmbh & Co. and conformed to the latest Corporate Identity requirements of our principals.
In recent years Behbehani Brothers has opened a separate Used Car Centre in Sitra, selling many different types of brands not exclusive to our own Automotive portfolio. With year on year increase in sales we are the leading Used Car Centre in Bahrain offering unrivaled expertise and service for all our customers in Bahrain and further afield.
Each of the new car showrooms has a workshop attached which is fully equipped with all the specialist tool requirements of our brands. The main site at Sitra also has a large Parts warehouse, a sophisticated Vehicle Refinishing Centre and a high-tech Training Academy which is accredited by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) in the UK.
Of course customer excellence is not just about facilities and Behbehani Brothers employs staff of over 160 people who work together to deliver a one-stop experience when it comes to meeting all your motoring needs.
